Banner-Mania!

Watch out, World!  Scott William Foley has learned how to make banners.  From now on, no one is safe.

Below are the banners I’ve made so far.  If you’d like to use one as a link on your blog or website, I’d be ecstatic to send you the code.  Just email me at scottwilliamfoley@gmail.com.

Shootdown from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

shootdown_sketch.jpg

This is Shootdown, an elite member of the Meta-Agent Program of the United States.  Shootdown is a covert operative specializing in assassination all over the world.  Some members of MAP are public figures, such as Anthem and Freedom (before he went AWOL and became the government’s worst traitor).  Shootdown belongs to that part of the program that is to never be known by the people.

If you’d like to read about Shootdown’s attempt at killing Freedom, and then his subsequent role in trapping Freedom , check out  The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume I and Volume II.

The Shadow Serpent from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

shadow_serpent.jpg

Above is the Shadow Serpent, a serial killer stalking the innocent citizens of Purgatory Station.  No one knows who he is or when he’ll strike.  Even Purgatory Station’s most experienced defender, the Nocturnal Knight, can’t catch this murderer on his own.  He therefore puts together a new team of fellow protectors, and they finally face down the Shadow Serpent.  However, like life, the Shadow Serpent’s methods and motivations are not easily defined.

To read of the Shadow Serpent and his misdeeds, check him out in The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

El Fuego from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

el_fuego_sketch.jpg

This is El Fuego, a mysterious young man recruited by the Nocturnal Knight to battle the Shadow Serpent.  His powers allow him to manifest and control fire, much as Excitor can create and manipulate electricity.  Because of their similarities and independent streak, the two young men don’t always see eye to eye.

I hope to one day devote an entire story to only El Fuego, but for now you can read about his adventures with the Nocturnal Knight’s team in my short story collection The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II - Join author Scott William Foley on another uncanny journey through the uncharted realms of the imagination! Although immensely different in genre, tone, and setting, Foley’s stories deal with that which we all have in common-our humanity. He brings us stories of love, regret, loss, hope, fear, and redemption. From the vastness of space to a lonely church pew, Foley’s tales will provoke your imagination in ways inconceivable! The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II is an eclectic collection of short stories dealing with horror, fantasy, faith, science fiction, realism, and everything in between. Prepare for another plunge into the depths of Scott William Foley’s wildest imaginings!

Souls Triumphant: A Novel - Souls Triumphant is the story of Joe and Alessandra, two recent college graduates who meet on the street and experience love at first sight. Through a series of adventures and tragedies, they learn the evil Ned and his fallen angels pursue them.  If the world is to survive, they must evade the villains’ nefarious intentions, befriend the enigmatic Buddy, and rekindle their true natures. It’s a story of romance, action, intrigue, fantasy, and faith.

The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume I - Enter worlds where the only limitation is the imagination.  Worlds where an old woman is left a fallen soldier’s medals of distinction for reasons she doesn’t understand; worlds where a cold-blooded killer vows to return from the dead and finish what he started; worlds where proposing to a girlfriend becomes a comedy of errors; worlds where a boy pays dearly for taking a dare to stay the night in a house no one would risk entering; worlds where a genetically-altered government agent, considered a hero by the people, is wanted for treason; worlds where a father loses touch with his son without caring to know why; worlds where a woman is bestowed the honor of destroying an unaware planet, but must choose if she will follow through with her duty; worlds where one word scribbled on a wall can change a person’s life forever, if one is willing to see it; worlds where a stranger’s random phone call renews faith.  Enter these worlds, and prepare to let the imagination soar!

Excitor from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

excitor_sketch.jpg

This is Excitor, a young man wielding bio-electric power.  First created in the early nineties, this character went through a plethora of names and designs before I finally settled on what you see above.  Eventually I want to dedicate an entire storyline to him, but for now you can read about him as he joins the Nocturnal Knight’s strike force against the Shadow Serpent in my short story collection The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

Hell Hound from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

hellhound_sketch.jpg

Above is a sketch of Hell Hound, one of the oldest active members of the Meta-Agent Program.  He, along with his fellow government santioned meta-agents, would love nothing more than to bring in the traitor Freedom, our nation’s greatest hero.  You can read about him in my short story collection The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

The Nocturnal Knight from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

nocturnal_knight_sketch.jpg

Above is a sketch of the Nocturnal Knight, a veteran hero on the island of Purgatory Station.  But, even though he’s been protecting the streets for decades, there’s one thing about him even he doesn’t realize.  You can read about him in my short story collection The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

Devil Woman from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

devil_woman_sketch.jpg

This is Devil Woman, a heroine who may not be everything she seems.  You can follow her adventures in my short story collection The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume II.

Anthem from The Chronicles of Purgatory Station

anthem_sketch.jpg

This is the corrupt Anthem, the antithesis and replacement of Freedom.  I first created him sometime around 1991.  He can currently be found in my short story collections The Imagination’s Provocation: Volume I and Volume II.
