Love Lies and Pumpkin Pies was great! I loved the twist at the end. I laughed out loud. I guess Ramona really did “make” the pies like Matthew’s mom.

O also enjoyed Christmas Confrontation. That was a very sweet, heartwarming story. I’m a big fan of feel good stories.

  2. Thanks for the kind words, Holliday. That’s funny what you pointed out about Ramona and Matthew’s mom. I never thought of it quite like that, but you’re spot-on!

Glad you liked “A Christmas Confrontation” as well. That’s the first story I’ve written in a long time that made me nervous for people to read.

I just finished Geo. Winthrop Jr. Park and have a tear in my eye… always the mark of a good story. To be able to touch a heart with a story of only 2 or 3 pages is certainly the essence of good writing ….and what short stories were meant to be. Job well done.

  4. Thanks so much, Sandi. It’s always my goal to stimulate an emotional response from my readers, so I’m glad we connected. I appreciate your kind words.
