Glad you enjoyed the review! I haven't read Atonement. I've read The Cement Garden and Amsterdam. The Cement Garden wasn't my cup of tea at all. Amsterdam simply didn't interest me that much. That said, with what little I've read of McEwan, I do appreciate his style and craft. Though I don't enjoy his content, he's an expert at the art of writing.

I may have to give Atonement a read, however, since you seem to think highly of it!

Thanks for dropping by!

Out of interest, have you read the book? I know that you say you have read some of them, but I ask because I found atonement to be an astonishing book - wish compared to his other books was miles ahead.

Anyway, I though I'd recommended it - because whilst the film IS good, I found the book to be much darker, deeper and ambiguous than the movie interpretation!

Nice review btw!
